AI Readiness Half-Day
Half a day on the work you actually do, and a straight answer about where AI would pay.
What this is
Nearly everyone is being told they should be using AI, and almost nobody is being told where. This is a half-day of finding out, aimed at your actual work rather than the industry in general. You fill in a short questionnaire, we spend up to three and a half hours going through two to four processes with the people who do them daily, and you get a written shortlist afterwards: what would genuinely benefit, what would not survive contact with reality, what each item would take to build, and what order I would do them in. It is deliberately the cheapest useful thing I sell on this subject, and if the honest conclusion is that you should not start yet, that is what the document will say.
Who it is for
Business owners and team leads who keep hearing they should be using AI and want a grounded answer about their own operation before spending anything serious.
What's included
- A short questionnaire so the session starts with context rather than introductions

- An explicit list of what I would leave alone, and why
- A rough effort and cost estimate for each item worth doing

What's not included
- Implementation, configuration or automation of any kind
- Training your team on the tools
- Buying, licensing or negotiating with any vendor on your behalf
- A data protection impact assessment or EU AI Act classification
- A guarantee of savings, time recovered or return on investment
- A review of processes we did not get to in the session
Unless an accepted proposal says otherwise. If you need something on this list, say so in your request — it is usually possible, it just needs pricing separately.
How it runs
- You submit a request saying roughly what your team does
- You pay and receive the questionnaire
- We schedule the session — usually within a week
- We spend up to three and a half hours walking through your processes
- You receive the written shortlist, normally within two working days
Timing
Up to three and a half hours with your team, plus the written shortlist. Held over video by default, in one sitting or two halves, whichever disrupts your week less. The shortlist normally follows within two working days.

Questions about this package
Does this count towards the implementation package?
Yes, in full. If you go on to book an AI Workflow Implementation, I deduct this amount from its price. It is applied by hand when I set the price on your next request, so mention it and I will check.
Who needs to be in the session?
The people who do the work, not only the people who manage it. Half of what makes this useful is watching someone actually do the task and hearing where they quietly work around the official process. Two to five people is the usual sweet spot.
We have already bought some AI tools. Is this still worth it?
Often more so. A common outcome is that you are already paying for something capable of the job and nobody has built it into the workflow. I will tell you that rather than propose replacing it.
Can you come to us instead?
Sometimes — I am in Croatia, and on-site works for anything within reasonable travel of Duga Resa, by arrangement and with travel charged separately. Video is the default because it costs you less and works nearly as well for this.
Why not just do the implementation straight away?
You can, if you already know which workflow you want built. This exists for the much more common case where you suspect there is something but cannot name it — and going in with the wrong workflow is the expensive mistake, not the €790.
